Kaki Simmons
Kaki is the owner of Head of the Class Academic Center and has had a passion for teaching and tutoring since before graduating from high school. She received her Bachelor’s in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma and her Master’s in Mathematics Education from Arizona State University. As a published researcher and former instructor of record, she has gained many worthwhile skills and teaching philosophies that meet students where they are and help them excel. With over ten years of official teaching and tutoring experience, her passion for helping students achieve their dreams remains her lifelong mission.

Asim Hassan
Asim Hassan is an academic tutor of more than 10 years who specializes in high school and college math, biology, and chemistry. He graduated with a bachelor's in Biochemistry from TCU (Go Frogs!) and has a master’s degree in Bioinformatics from UT Dallas with a certificate in Data Science. He is passionate about education and believes in a heuristic style of learning which he believes not only gives students an understanding of each topic but a high level of confidence for students to pursue anything they wish in or outside of the classroom.

Stephanie Wilken
Stephanie is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in interdisciplinary studies and an ESL certification. Stephanie is the Office Administrator and an instructor at Head of the Class Academic Center and has been with the center for six years! She is usually the friendly voice you will hear over the phone to help you with making a plan for your student! With a passion for education, Stephanie fosters inclusive learning environments and employs innovative teaching methods. Beyond her administrative role, she enjoys reading, hiking, and horses.

Skye Forrester-Greene
Skye has a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and has 3+ years of experience in the industry. She enjoys using her background to teach students and get them excited about learning-especially in engineering, math, or science. When she’s not teaching or learning, she enjoys singing, sketching, and hiking.

Mona Hassan
Mona Hassan is a recent graduate of Princeton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. She has an interdisciplinary background with experience in engineering, computer science, and music as well. She loves tutoring and understands the importance of fostering unique and nurturing educational environments that help each student grow. Outside of the classroom, Mona enjoys basketball, art, and dance.
