We are proud to be a woman-owned business for over 19 years. Head of the Class was originally founded in 2004 by Lynn Ellis. After 19 years of dedication, she retired and handed the reigns to Kaki Simmons. Both women continue to work closely together to provide a personal touch to your child’s educational needs.

We are different than a typical one-size-fits-all approach to tutoring and education. Many tutorial services put students on a standard curriculum- a structure that does not support every student. At Head of the Class, we offer personalized plans that acknowledge each student's individuality. Whether they need support with homework, test preparation, or assistance with college applications, we are ready to help!

Online or in-person, this option allows for flexible scheduling. Many students choose to be put on a recurring schedule with their tutor.

In-person, semi-privates offer a more affordable option for tutoring where friends can learn together.
1 Hour Session | $45 per student
ACT / SAT Small Group Course
In-person, this 4-week course offers content and test strategies for taking the ACT or SAT (includes unlimited practice during the course).
